Smart Cut Automatic Biopsy Gun, SC16-08ss (16 ga x 8 cm). Smart Cut automatic biopsy needles are easier to maneuver than reusable spring-loaded guns, offering one-handed operation. Fixed throw, set depth automatically projects 22 mm, retrieving a 20 mm specimen when fired. The sharp beveled point allows quick and easy penetration with less trauma to organs and surrounding tissue. Once the cannula is fired, there is no risk of losing the specimen as it is locked into the notch of the stylet. Smart-Cuts provide an echogenic tip for enhanced ultrasound and centimeter markings on the needle for accurate placement.
