Lightweight and Compact:
Speed Cut is a light weight automatic biopsy needle, easier to maneuver than reusable spring-loaded guns.
One Hand Operation:
Once the needle is cocked, it is easily operated with one hand, leaving the other free to manipulate a guidance device, such as an ultrasound transducer, laparoscope, etc.
No risk of losing specimen:
Once the cannula is fired, the specimen is locked into the notch of the stylet.
Sharp bevelled point:
The stylet point allows quick and easy penetration with less trauma to organs and surrounding tissues.
Echogenic tip and centimeter markings:
Speedcut provides an echogenic tip for enhanced ultrasound and centimeter markings on the needle for accurate placement.
Wide range of applications:

Variable penetration depth:
The physician may choose one of two penetration depths (15 mm for 12 mm tissue sample, or 22 mm for 20 mm tissue sample) using the switch located on top of the gun.
